At a Glance
Contract: Zero-hours
Schedule: Both Saturday & Sunday each week
Hours: 5 to 12-16 per week
Shifts: Mornings (07.00–15.00) or Afternoons/Evenings (14.00–22.00)
Pay: £12.60/hour + £12.21/hour for travel time + £0.35/mile mileage + double time payments on bank holidays

Your Role as a Care Professional at Home Instead
Being a Care Professional at Home Instead is about so much more than providing practical support — it’s about being a familiar face, a listening ear, and a reliable presence in someone’s life.
Your day-to-day routine might include:
* Light housekeeping tasks
* Medication assistance
* Personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, incontinence support, moving safely)
* Accompanying clients to appointments or running errands
* Providing companionship and emotional support
We believe in relationship-led care, which means:
* Longer visit times (no rushed 15-minute calls)
* Matching carers with clients for continuity and comfort
* Time to connect, not just complete tasks

Who Are We Looking For?

What you'll need:
* A kind heart and genuine interest in caring for others, especially for older adults
* A valid driving licence, access to car, and business insurance for your vehicle
* Availability on both Saturday and Sunday
