About Engineering at Norfolk State University:
Norfolk State University is a Historically Black University located in the city of Norfolk, Virginia. The Norfolk State campus enrollment is approximately 5,500 students, and the campus has a rich tradition of undergraduate teaching and research. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a master of science or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates should have prior experience teaching undergraduate coursework, and/or supporting Electrical Engineering laboratory activities. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate strong communication skill through their application materials.
Additional Considerations
Preferred qualifications include an ability to teach undergraduate-level Electrical Engineering courses in systems science, including control systems, communications systems, and signals and systems, embedded systems, or microcontrollers. Prior experience administering online instruction is also preferred.
