We have an opportunity to join our Facilities Team, as a Facilities & Maintenance Manager at our Runcorn Distribution Centre.
This is a full time position, working alongside our Site Operations team reporting to our National Facilities Manager to resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set and maintain facilities standards, ensuring best proactive facilities management is rolled out across both sites
2. Manage third-party contracts to ensure best value
3. Track and manage maintenance tasks effectively through our CMMS system
4. Ensure compliance with national standards and specifications
5. Meet health and safety requirements
6. Ensure planned maintenance schedules are in place and actioned effectively
7. Plan facilities requirements for capital and revenue site spend
8. Assess work on site & project work
9. Manage on-site contractors & our site hygiene teams
Skills and Experience:
10. Experience of facilities management/engineering in a warehousing environment & facilities, strategy and contracts management
11. Practice of building a successful multi-skilled maintenance team, managing teams and implementing on site
12. Knowledge of warehouse internals (e.g., racking, dock doors, dock lifting systems, sprinklers, lighting, power distribution, etc.)
13. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple maintenance works
14. Excellent communication skills
15. Confident to challenge contractors with regards to quotes and timelines
16. Experience of warehouse automation is desirable
