THE OPPORTUNITY You're a Structural Revit Technician who wants more ownership-of projects, outputs, and team development. At Stantec, this Senior Structural Technician role in Newcastle gives you the platform to lead delivery while mentoring others and shaping how technical work is produced. You'll join a Civil & Structural team working across a diverse portfolio of projects, within a multidisciplinary environment that values coordination, quality, and practical design. ABOUT THE ROLE You will play a central role in project delivery, leading the production and coordination of 2D and 3D models, drawings, and schedules across a range of engineering projects. You'll ensure outputs are accurate, well-coordinated, and delivered to programme, while working closely with engineers and other disciplines to maintain consistency across designs. You'll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, supporting document control and ensuring that information flows effectively throughout each stage of a project. You'll also contribute to site-related activities-supporting inspections, surveys, and technical reporting-helping to ensure designs are practical and buildable. Alongside delivery, you'll take responsibility for supporting and developing the technician team. This includes allocating work, providing guidance, and contributing to team capability. You'll also play a role in improving processes-working with others to enhance workflows, share knowledge, and raise technical standards across the business. YOUR IMPACT You'll influence how projects are delivered at a technical level, ensuring that models and drawings are clear, coordinated, and aligned with design intent. Your work will directly support the delivery of projects that are efficient, buildable, and consistent in quality. Internally, your impact will be seen in the development of others. By mentoring technicians and supporting team growth, you'll help build capability while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment. Over time, your influence will extend across both project delivery and how the team operates. ABOUT YOU Strong experience producing and coordinating structural engineering models and drawings using Revit Good understanding of project stages, health and safety requirements, and quality assurance processes Confident working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with external stakeholders Experience delegating tasks and managing workloads Experience mentoring or supporting junior technicians (or a clear interest in doing so) Proactive approach to continuous development, with EngTech status (or working toward it) desirable Interest in improving workflows and contributing to technical innovation Comfortable supporting project delivery from both a technical and coordination perspective WHY JOIN US We put people first: We're proud of our friendly, inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and driven to succeed.
