Job Title: Production Team Leader (PM Shift)
Location: Scunthorpe

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Pay Rate: £14.35 per hour
Start Date: Immediate (upon successful interview)
Role Overview:
We are recruiting a Production Team Leader to oversee the PM shift in a food manufacturing facility specialising in raw meat materials. The role ensures production targets, team performance, stringent health & safety, and food hygiene standards are maintained, with direct responsibility for quality control on shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of operatives throughout the PM shift
Organise daily workflow and delegate tasks according to production needs
Monitor output and productivity, ensuring consistent achievement of targets
Quality control:Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Identify and resolve quality issues, including recording non-conformances and implementing corrective actions
Maintain accurate quality documentation
Enforce health & safety, food safety, and hygiene protocols
Train, coach, and support team members on best practices, including quality standards
Complete shift reports and escalate any operational or quality concerns
Ensure all equipment is operated and cleaned according to company and industry requirements
Oversee smooth shift handovers, communicating quality findings and unresolved issuesPerson Specification:
Experience in a supervisory or team leader role within food manufacturing (ideally raw meat environment)
Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety, and quality control processes
Leadership with good decision-making and troubleshooting skills
Thorough attention to detail and commitment to compliance
