We are looking for a dynamic Creative Arts & Textiles Tutor who can deliver exciting, practical and forward‑thinking learning experiences.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver a vibrant curriculum full of practical, engaging, and varied techniques
* Inspire students through hands‑on sessions, small‑group teaching, and personalised learning
* Support young people as they prepare for creative, practical, and supported‑internship pathways
* Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and help students grow in confidence and independence
* Work collaboratively with a passionate team to develop subject knowledge and best practice
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where creativity can thrive
* Contribute to individual education plans, behaviour plans, and holistic student support
* Promote positive behaviour, self‑regulation, and personal development
* Communicate effectively with care staff, colleagues and stakeholders to ensure consistency
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and professional practice
Qualifications
* A love for creativity, craft, and hands‑on learning
* A willingness to explore new materials, technologies and techniques
* The ability to engage, motivate and inspire diverse learners
* Strong organisational skills and a commitment to high‑quality teaching
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous development
* Driving licence is desirable
* Teaching qualification / working words is desirable
