Position: Early Years Practitioner Location: Kings Heath Hours: Term Time Only Nursery between the hours of 8:00am until 4:00pm. Why Early Years Experience Matters Your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) will enable you to: Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities Support children's physical, emotional, and social development Observe and assess individual progress Work collaboratively with colleagues and families Create a warm, welcoming environment that promotes learning through play Key Responsibilities Supporting children's learning and development in accordance with the EYFS framework Assisting with daily routines, including mealtime, play, and personal care Providing individualised support to meet children's diverse needs Observing children and maintaining detailed developmental records Supporting the planning and implementation of stimulating activities Promoting positive behaviour and social interactions Ensuring a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for all children Candidate Requirements A valid, Early Years approved qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator, CACHE, or equivalent) Proven experience working in a UK Nursery setting Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development best practices Enthusiastic, caring, and proactive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong communication skills with both children and adults Monarch Education are proud to be a leading recruitment specialist in the Education industry.
