Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor Location: Wakefield (WF4) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Are you a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor who is passionate about helping students overcome behavioural and emotional challenges? Schools in Wakefield (WF4) and GSL Education are hiring a committed Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent support to pupils who may require additional guidance with behaviour and engagement in learning. As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with students who may face behavioural or emotional difficulties. You will help create a calm, structured environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged to make positive choices in their learning and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group behavioural support. Help students manage behaviour and emotional regulation. Support teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment. Encourage positive engagement in lessons and school activities. Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Patience, resilience, and a supportive approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
