Weston Primary and Nursery School is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a friendly, forward-looking school. In March 2023, we received another 'Good' from Ofsted, with our report stating that 'pupils are enthusiastic about their learning' and that 'staff feel well-supported by leaders'. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who wants to work as part of our highly motivated team, working either for 9 hours per week over 3 afternoons, or alternatively working for 11 hours per week over 5 afternoons, in term-time. The majority of the hours will be providing PPA cover for class teachers. Included within the role's paid hours each week is some PPA time for the HLTA to prepare their own lessons etc. There would also be the possibility of further hours, when necessary, to cover staff absence. We would welcome applications from candidates with experience of (or an interest in) working with any age range in Early Years or Primary. We are happy to consider candidates with or without an HLTA qualification, and we would be happy to support the right candidate in obtaining this qualification while working at Weston, if they would like to.
