Timber Product Deliveries
Driver Hire Grimsby is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for an excellent temp to perm opportunity with one of our key clients in the timber industry. You’ll be delivering timber products across the UK using curtain siders and flat bed trailers, with regular nights out preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering timber loads to builders’ merchants and trade customers nationwide
Securing loads using straps – experience with timber strapping essential
Handling curtain sider and flat bed trailers
Representing Driver Hire and our client in a professional manner
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and Digi card
Previous experience with timber loads or similar securing methods
Competent and confident with reversing and maneuvering in tight yards
Flexible with start times and nights out (sleepers provided)
Good geographical knowledge of the UK
