Job Title: Social Value Coordinator\n\nLocation: Reading\n\nSalary: Competitive \n\nJob Type: This is a full time, fixed-term (12 months) role. There will be a need to travel to our sites across the South as part of the role, at least 3 days per week.\n\nRole duties:\n\nImplement, coordinate and measure social value activities and contributions on our Southern region projects\nSupport the pre-construction team with social value and CSR aspects for bids\nCollaborate with clients, local authorities, third sector organisations, procurement teams and supply chain partners to support and deliver social value commitments\nDevelop and manage relationships and engagement opportunities with local schools, colleges and community groups\nFacilitate work experience placements on site (e.g. T Levels)\nSupport and prepare sites for Considerate Constructors Scheme audits\nPrepare regular internal and external social value reports\nDevise communications (e.g. case studies, newsletters, social media)Key skills and experience desired:\n\nPrior experience in CSR, corporate responsibility, social value / impact, community investment, community / stakeholder engagement, sustainability etc.
an advantage\nExcellent project/time management skills\nAbility to build relationships internally and with external stakeholders to meet strategic objectives\nProactive approach to managing workload and an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision\nExcellent communication skills, both spoken and written\nExperience in managing databases, analysing data and producing reports\nEfficient, enthusiastic and well-organised\nFull driving license and a willingness to travel.Please note that you do not have to meet all of the above requirements to be considered for the role.
