Interventions Teaching Assistant Location: Oldbury, B68 Birmingham Pay Rate: £(Apply online only) per day Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm We're looking for a focused and enthusiastic Interventions Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Oldbury. This is a long-term role supporting pupils who need a little extra help to catch up and achieve their potential. Working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you'll deliver targeted intervention sessions both 1:1 and in small groups. What You'll Be Doing: Support pupils with catch-up programmes in reading, writing and maths Deliver structured interventions using school resources and guidance Track progress and feedback to the class teacher and SENCO Motivate and encourage children who need additional academic support Work closely with teaching staff to plan and adapt interventionsWhat We're Looking For: A level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or a relevant qualification Experience delivering interventions or supporting pupil progress Strong grasp of the KS1/KS2 curriculum Confident, positive and approachable with excellent communication skills Able to build trust and rapport quickly with pupilsWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
