Salary: £43,001 - 47,779 per year Requirements: Previous experience as a Data or Insight Analyst, preferably within social housing, local government, or public sector organizations. Familiarity with housing-related data, including housing management systems (e.g., MRI, Northgate, Civica) and experience analyzing housing-specific data, such as tenant demographics, rent arrears, and service usage is desirable. Familiarity with customer insight tools and techniques, such as surveys, focus groups, and data mining. Demonstrated experience in turning raw data into insights that influence business decisions and improve service delivery. Experience with statistical techniques, including trend analysis, segmentation, and regression analysis for providing meaningful insights. Proficiency in SQL for querying databases. Solid understanding of key issues in social housing, such as tenant satisfaction, void management, rent collection, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Homes England, Regulator of Social Housing). Responsibilities: Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and retrieval processes on large datasets to identify trends and create management dashboards focused on providing in-depth insights. Develop a good understanding of core data returns and proactively discuss any potential issues with Data Owners, leading to cross-referencing of data across all dashboards. Utilize raw data to gain insights from available and new data streams to enhance knowledge of our assets, maximize income, and manage resources efficiently. Handle potentially incomplete datasets, clean data to produce predictive modeling, and ensure robust testing pre-release of all reports and related dashboards in collaboration with the ICT Quality Team. Integrate and mashup distinctive datasets, pulling data from multiple, disparate sources to provide the management team with an at-a-glance view of the business. Create and maintain SQL functions, procedures, and reports while supporting SQL data views and core record systems and processes.
