Administration & Engagement Officer – Wakefield. Base: Programme Office in Wakefield, with travel to engagement events across Leeds. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Salary: £24,784.50.

Role Overview
This role supports the Diabetic Eye Screening Programme by engaging with communities, gathering feedback, and improving eye‑screening awareness.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve the knowledge of the importance of diabetic eye screening within programme communities.
* Collaborate with the Stakeholder and Quality Assurance Manager to design and implement consultation activities targeting underserved or seldom‑heard groups (e.g., those with learning disabilities, patients in areas of greater deprivation, and non‑responders).
* Undertake, analyse, and report on patient satisfaction feedback and other experience surveys.
* Obtain patient, user/carer, and professional intelligence and insight through engagement activities, including the establishment of Patient, Partner, Stakeholder, and User forums, and foster collaborative relationships.
* Travel across the Leeds area to engage with stakeholders and attend events; flexible working, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.
Required Experience and Qualifications
* Experience working in a customer‑focused environment.
* Strong social‑media literacy and ability to engage service users online.
* Awareness of general and cultural issues relating to underserved communities and seldom‑heard groups.
* Experience presenting at events and conducting stakeholder meetings.
* Experience engaging with patient support groups is beneficial.
