Job Title : Invasive Cardiac Physiologist Banding: Band 7 Locat io n: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate : £ 40 - £ 50 per month Working hours: Monday to Friday An excellent opportunity has become available for a Band 7 Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join a highly skilled cardiology team in Gloucester. This role is ideal for an experienced and motivated physiologist with a strong background in invasive cardiac procedures, looking to contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional services in a well-equipped and supportive environment. What will your responsibilities be : The postholder will be responsible for performing and supporting a range of invasive cardiac procedures including angiography, angioplasty, and device implantation. Duties include physiological monitoring, data interpretation, and ensuring the safe and effective operation of specialised equipment. The role involves working closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centred care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Maintaining accurate records and adhering to clinical governance and safety protocols is essential. Qualifications and Experiences: BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent RCCP or AHCS registration Extensive experience in invasive cardiology procedures Proficiency in cardiac catheterisation lab techniques Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure in acute clinical environments Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient safety How to apply?
