We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join one of our well-established clients based in the West Bromwich area. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing business with a strong local reputation. For the right candidate, this role offers genuine opportunities for progression.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar administrative role. Experience within the transport sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key responsibilities:
Respond to and manage customer enquiries via email and telephone
Ensure all jobs on internal systems are kept up to date and accurate
Respond to operational queries and provide timely delivery updates
Support the planning department with administrative tasks as required
Assist with additional duties as and when needed
The ideal candidate will:
Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Be computer competent and IT literate
Have excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Be able to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively
Have experience within transport (advantageous, but not essential)
