Rutherford Cross is working with a growing tech business who is looking for a hands‑on Interim Management Accountant to support the finance team during a period of increased activity. This role suits someone who is confident managing end‑to‑end accounting processes, producing high‑quality management accounts, and preparing statutory accounts in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
* Support statutory accounts preparation and audit requirements
* Manage month‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
* Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
* Provide clear financial insight to operational and leadership teams
* Assist with process improvements and ad‑hoc finance projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in management and statutory accounting
* Strong technical accounting skills with a hands‑on approach
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a dynamic setting
* Comfortable collaborating across teams in a tech‑driven environment
* Fully Qualified Accountant
