Our reputable multi-franchise car dealership in Treforest is seeking a highly motivated Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their professional team.
This Parts Advisor position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive parts professionals looking to develop their career within a well-established dealership. The successful individual will be responsible for managing parts orders, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the dealership’s ongoing success.
The position of Parts Advisor is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the parts department and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Duties of the Parts Advisor:
* Receive all parts orders, accurately identify requirements, and ensure prompt picking and dispatch
* Identify and process customer parts requirements with professionalism and courtesy in a busy trade environment
* Maintain a sales-oriented and target-driven approach to promote parts growth as a Parts Advisor
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
* Work collaboratively as part of a friendly team reporting to the Aftersales Manager
* Utilise dealer management systems (Kerridge/CDK) and electronic parts catalogues to facilitate efficient processing
* Provide excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers
* Maintain accurate stock and parts records, supporting the dealership’s objectives
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with vehicle parts within a main dealer or motor factor environment
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
* IT literate, with experience using Kerridge/CDK dealer management software and electronic parts catalogues
* Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Well-developed customer service and sales skills
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Ideally based within an easily accessible distance of Pontypridd or surrounding areas
