We are seeking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our company as an Associate Director. Reporting to the Management, the Associate Director will play a key role in leading a team of Quantity Surveyors to execute deliverables in accordance with the Services to be rendered for each construction project. The successful candidate will provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure the achievement of the team/company’s goals and objectives.
This candidate shall provide strong leadership and work alongside to/with the team of Quantity Surveyors to drive performance and achieve objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactions.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
* Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation within the team/company.
* Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
* Assist the Project Director to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects and initiatives.
* Assist the Project Director to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and milestones.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely andprofessional manner.
* Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
* While executing the above responsibilities, this candidate shall ensure compliance with relevant laws,regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Construction Project Management.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm with minimum 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.
3. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
