Senior Private Client Lawyer - Bristol Senior Associate / Partner level There are very few Private Client opportunities in Bristol that genuinely offer the combination of high quality work, international exposure and the ability to play a visible role in shaping a growing team. This is one of them. I am working closely with a highly regarded, full service law firm with a strong UK presence and an established international footprint. Their Private Client team continues to attract complex, high value instructions and is now looking to appoint a senior lawyer into its Bristol office as part of its continued growth. This is a genuinely influential hire. The successful individual will step into a team that is performing strongly, has excellent referral networks and is continuing to invest heavily in its Private Client offering. The role offers access to a broad and often complex caseload, including advising high and ultra high net worth individuals, frequently involving multi jurisdictional assets and estate structures. The work covers sophisticated inheritance tax planning, trusts, wills, LPAs, estate administration and later life planning, with plenty of scope to develop individual specialisms and client relationships. You would be joining a collaborative and commercially minded team where senior lawyers are given real autonomy and trust. There is a clear expectation that you will contribute to business development and help shape the profile of the team locally, but within an environment where marketing, networking and growth initiatives are well supported rather than left to individuals to drive alone. The firm occupies an attractive position in the market, combining the quality of work and client base often associated with larger national practices, but with a structure that still allows senior lawyers to have genuine visibility, influence and progression opportunities. There is a clear and well supported pathway for senior lawyers looking to step into leadership roles. This opportunity would suit an experienced Private Client lawyer with around ten years PQE or more, who is confident handling complex matters and enjoys building long term client and referrer relationships. A following is welcomed but is by no means essential.
