Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our team to help and assist our Accounts Manager. This pivotal role will contribute to our mission by managing financial records and ensuring accurate processing of accounts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting the Accounts Manager and our business. Elsa Waste Paper is a very busy office environment so the ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in this integral role within the company.
Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable
* Prepare weekly supplier payment runs for 2 companies
* Credit control for 2 companies for both debtors and creditors
* Credit card entries and reconciliation for 2 companies
* Assisting with factoring account reconciliations
* Petty Cash handling and entries
* To reply and manage a high volume of emails daily from customers, suppliers, directors and other financial contacts.
* Daily drawdown of money required from our factoring facility
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
* Qualifications
* AAT Level 2 essential, level 3 desirable
* Proficiency in Sage50 Accounts, Microsoft office, Email, Excel and word.
* Strong understanding of all aspects of the accounting function
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to hit the ground running
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Previous experience in an accounting administrative role is essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
