Investment Administrator
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £32,500 + excellent benefits
Working pattern: Full-time, office-based during probation (6 months), then hybrid (2 days WFH per week)
The Opportunity
* An established and highly respected UK wealth management firm is looking to recruit an Investment Administrator to support Investment Managers within their Portfolio Management function.

The Role
* Reporting into senior members of the investment support team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to Investment Managers, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and positive client outcomes, while working within a regulated and compliance-led framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to Investment Managers and wider portfolio management teams
* Opening and closing client accounts and maintaining accurate client records
* Processing stock transfers, payments, and other account-related transactions
* Updating client and account data on internal systems
* Producing reports using Excel and internal data sources
* Supporting the preparation of client meetings, reviews, and presentations
* Arranging client meetings and drafting correspondence and file notes
* Assisting with ad-hoc projects and ongoing process improvements
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
* Building strong internal and external relationships through accurate and timely support
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in an investment administration / wealth management / financial services role
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Confident user of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Professional communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
* Understanding of working in a regulated environment (FCA awareness desirable)
