GBP 13.34 per hour





Hours as and when required






Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Project Worker at our Intensive Housing Management Service, Sandwood House, Birmingham.

The role of Bank Project Worker will include:


:
Providing house related support to ensure relevant support is provided to encourage our customers to maximise their own potential and level of independence
:
Managing health and safety responsibilities within a social housing environment
:
Assessing customers' needs, writing, and updating support plans
:
Working with statutory and non:statutory agencies on behalf of the customers, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required
:
Developing professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained



Skills and experiences:


:
A sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management and an understanding of occupancy agreements
:
Experience of motivating and encouraging individuals to reach their goals
:
Knowledge of health and safety requirements
:
The ability to work on your own initiative as you will be required to source innovative solutions to problems that allow customers independence to be enhanced
:
Some experience of working with customers with mental health and/or complex needs
:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
:
NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
