About the Role:
As our assistant manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring smooth operations across both the bar and restaurant. You will lead and motivate the team, drive sales, and ensure our guests enjoy a memorable experience every time they visit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of the bar and restaurant
* Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver outstanding service
* Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Drive sales through promotions, events, and upselling opportunities
* Handle budgets, rotas, and cost controls effectively
* Deal with customer feedback in a professional and proactive way
About You:
* Previous experience in a management role within a pub, bar, or restaurant
* A strong leader with excellent people management skills
* Passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent customer service
* Organised, hands-on, and able to work under pressure
* Commercially aware, with experience in budgeting and driving sales
* Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
