Are you a strategic, business-minded professional who wants to make a real impact in education? We are looking for a School Business Officer who will be instrumental in supporting our school's continued success by managing the business functions that underpin everything we do. This is a key leadership role where you will work alongside the Trust COO, Headteacher, and senior team to ensure the highest standards of business management across financial resources, human resources, marketing, and administration. You will lead our administration team while contributing to strategic planning and operational excellence. Your expertise will directly support our educational mission: when systems run smoothly and resources are managed effectively, our staff can focus on what matters most—delivering outstanding education to our pupils. Key responsibilities include: Administration leadership: Lead and develop the school administration team, undertake line management and appraisals Financial management: Monitor income and expenditure, support budget preparation, and produce regular financial reports in collaboration with the Trust Finance Manager Resource management: Ensure best value at all times, manage contracts and services, and explore income-generating opportunities through site usage Human resources: Oversee staff contracts, payroll, recruitment coordination, DBS checks, and maintain accurate personnel records Marketing and communications: Oversee the development of marketing materials, website, and parental communications Our commitment to staff development, wellbeing, workload, and belonging isn't just words—it's proven by our results.
