Our client, a highly regarded Civil Engineering Contractor based in Glasgow, is seeking a Scheme Project Manager to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in the Access for All program, overseeing civil structural renewal projects across Scotland’s rail network.
What You’ll Do
* Lead Health & Safety management on projects.
* Provide strong leadership and guidance to site staff.
* Coordinate projects to meet deadlines and client specifications.
* Manage project development in line with approved plans & targets.
* Implement and manage procurement schedules, productivity trackers, and outputs.
* Undertake additional engineering responsibilities as required.
* Identify and mitigate project risks.
* Drive Value Engineering opportunities through design and development.
* Prepare formal project progress reports.
* Oversee sub-contractor management.
About You
* Proven experience as Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
* Background in civil engineering, preferably with rail, structural, or heavy civil projects.
* Qualified to HNC/HND level or above.
* Strong ability to collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders.
