As Head of Art you will lead by example, develop, inspire and motivate your team and be committed to achieving high standards. You will be enthusiastic about embracing new ideas, demonstrate a positive attitude and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead, develop and manage the Art department; inspire and support staff.
* Design and oversee comprehensive programmes of study, creating resources and schemes of work.
* Implement effective assessment and teaching strategies to ensure relevance to pupils, examining and awarding bodies and the Academy’s aims and development plan.
* Monitor the quality and consistency of provision across all aspects of the curriculum.
Qualifications
* Experience of teaching and leading across the subject area, with a proven background of achieving successful outcomes.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Scale: TSAT Teacher Scale - £33,280 - £52,000 + TLR £5,924
