Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to work with a Greater Manchester Local Authority on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week (Mon – Fri). The incoming candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive administrative support within a Children’s Social Care setting. Main Duties * Type and produce presentations and to format existing presentations * Update and retrieve information from a range of databases/spreadsheets, manipulate data, including using formulas, and create non-standard reports * Enter data into systems and undertake progress chasing to ensure that information relevant to the service is accurate, up-to-date and recorded on systems accordingly * Maintain effective and efficient office and information systems, including compliance with external requirements where necessary * Assist with the diary management for assigned Senior Managers in designated service * Prepare agendas, collate and distribute documents from a range of professionals * Taking accurate high quality informal and formal notes/minutes * Chasing follow up actions where appropriate * Recording of outcomes on the case management system Essential Criteria * Prior administrative / secretarial experience in a Local Authority / Social Care setting * Minute taking and diary management experience * Strong communica...
