Responsibilities
* The role holder will work with the Head of Department and Vice Dean for Education and Student Experience to develop strategies to guarantee high qualities of academic provision and student experience.
* Liaise with the admissions department to promote the course as a top-level choice for the next generation of video games artists and designers.
* Provide leadership and mentoring for the broader course team.
* Deliver higher education courses in video games art and design, and contribute to curriculum development and industry engagement at the Futures Studio and CoSTAR Lab.
* Lead modules and course units or contribute to leading degree programs; potential to move to a course leadership role.
* Support teaching with up-to-date knowledge of video games art and design and/or virtual production techniques; experience with Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya or Cinema4D is desirable.
Qualifications
* Substantial experience in delivering higher education courses in video games art and design, or related field; ability to lead modules and move into course leadership.
* Teaching practice underpinned by current knowledge of video games art and design and/or virtual production techniques and workflows.
* Experience with relevant software such as Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya or Cinema4D is desirable.
