Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The availability window shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if the times you are available closely match but not exactly to the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for
* Knowing customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering natural service
* Being knowledgeable about products and services in your store
* Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
* Applying training to work safely, effectively and with excellent customer service
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering store routines accordingly
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events; creating an inclusive atmosphere
* Understanding store performance and your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste and delivering profit
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition
* Living Tesco values and following policies; making everyone feel welcome
* Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store
