We’re on the lookout forpractical, detail-oriented individualsto join our dynamic team inCambridgeas aSenior Technicianin our cutting-edgeEnvironmental Laboratories. These labs are at the forefront of materials testing in challenging environments—includinghydrogen sulphide, hydrogen, and other aggressive conditions. Your contributions will directly support innovative projects that push the boundaries of engineering and sustainability.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Collaborating withProject Engineers and fellow techniciansto deliver bespoke materials testing.
* Working withchallenging environments under varying pressures and temperatures to simulate real-world conditions.
* Applying yourengineering know-howto assemble machinery, solve practical problems, and ensure high-quality results.
What You Bring
* A solid foundation inmechanical engineeringand a keen eye for detail.
* Experience withmachinery assemblyandhands-on problem solving.
* The ability to work both independently and within a high performing team.
* Bonus points for knowledge of:
o Gas chromatography
o Instrumentation and materials testing machines
o Data logging and analysis using Excel
