Inhouse Research Manager
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000
Location: Central London (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
An incredible opportunity to join a regulatory body in London as an Inhouse Research Manager. You will play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact research outputs across multiple sectors that shape business leaders and decision.
This role will see you leading the delivery of a diverse research and insight programme – from flagship benchmarking reports to thought leadership publications and bespoke projects for major organisations.
You'll take ownership of research design, analysis, and report writing, ensuring outputs are evidence-based, commercially relevant, and engagingly presented.
Working closely with senior colleagues and external partners, you'll bring fresh perspectives to customer, business, and market trends, and communicate findings in ways that resonate with senior stakeholders.
Senior Research and Insight Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Designing, managing, and delivering research projects – both in-house and with external agencies.
* Writing insightful reports and briefings that bring data to life for senior audiences.
* Leading the production of major benchmarking reports and sector analyses.
* Preparing presentations and content for launches, events, and webinars.
* Supporting business development by identifying opportunities for bespoke research projects.
* Keeping up to date with emerging trends and embedding market intelligence into the research programme.
Senior Research and Insight Manager Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong track record in research and insight, with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
* Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Exceptional writing ability – able to craft clear, evidence-led, and engaging reports.
* Confidence in presenting findings to senior audiences.
* Experience of managing external research partners and suppliers.
* Commercial acumen, with the ability to spot opportunities and add value.
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (research, business, marketing, social sciences).
