Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a leading manufacturing company based near Chester to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
* Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Collaborate with production, supply chain, and commercial teams to understand cost drivers and improve profitability.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), stock valuations, and manufacturing variances.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
* Support inventory and cost accounting, including BOM analysis and standard costing updates.
* Ensure financial controls are maintained in line with group policies and audit requirements.
* Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance and operational reporting.
* Act as a business partner to non-finance teams, delivering meaningful insight and financial support.
Skills/ Experience Required:
* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
* Proven experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment.
* Strong understanding of management accounting principles, particularly in cost control, stock and margin analysis.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A strong analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
