Leisure Club Assistant Role
Our Leisure Club Assistants support in providing a successful Health & Fitness offering to members and guests, promoting and supporting behavioural change in achieving fitness goals and the benefits of healthy living. The role reports directly to the Leisure Club Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in Runcorn WA7 3HA.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the club is always presented in the appropriate condition by completing the correct daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
2. Achieving new member sales, renewals, and net membership growth metrics.
3. Supporting the Club Management Team with local marketing initiatives to drive new member sales, membership headcount, and the club's community presence.
4. Demonstrating a pro-active approach to Health & Safety and supporting the Club Management Team with the Sustainable Safety Group (SSG) audit.
5. Undertaking cash handling duties and submitting reports to hotel finance.
Other titles for this role may include Leisure Centre Assistant, Sports Centre Assistant, Wellness Club Assistant, or Fitness Assistant.

Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for someone eager to demonstrate skills and develop their career—experience in the leisure/fitness/spa wellness industry is beneficial but not essential.
The preferred qualifications include:
* Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder
* First Aid at Work Qualification
* CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above
* Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or above
