Join a highly reputable and professional independent accountancy practice based in Fareham. We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our Audit & Accounts team. Our well-established firm offers a variety of accountancy, audit, and taxation services to clients, with offices conveniently located in Fareham town centre, just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, execute, and complete audits, ensuring audit reports meet standards.
2. Report to managers and partners, prepare accounts, and handle other assignments.
3. Coordinate planning with clients, liaise with internal departments, and build relationships with clients and third parties.
4. Prepare accounts for non-audit clients and draft company tax computations.
Requirements:
1. ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant with at least 2 years of recent Audit and Assurance experience in an accountancy practice.
2. Experience auditing construction, marine, and property firms, leading external audit assignments, and preparing accounts under FRS 102.
3. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
4. Knowledge of CCH is an advantage.
5. Full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
