Senior Sales Manager – Scotland
EZO are a fast-growing Irish electric vehicle (EV) and energy solutions company entering a critical expansion phase. With a strong foundation in Ireland, we are now launching our sales operations in Scotland and the wider UK, targeting both public and commercial sectors as demand for EV infrastructure accelerates.
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a sales function from the ground up, shaping strategy, market entry, and long-term growth.
The Role
We are seeking a senior, hands-on sales leader to establish and scale our UK sales presence, with an initial focus on Scotland. You will be responsible for driving revenue, building strategic relationships, and laying the foundations for a high-performing sales team.
This role combines strategic leadership with direct selling, particularly in complex, high-value environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead market entry and revenue growth across Scotland and wider UK regions
* Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy aligned with company growth plans
* Personally manage and close key strategic and enterprise-level opportunities
* Build strong relationships across public sector bodies, utilities, and commercial clients
* Navigate complex procurement, tendering, and framework processes
* Collaborate closely with leadership, operations, and delivery teams in Ireland
* Recruit, mentor, and develop future sales team members as the business scales
* Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and market insight to senior leadership
Experience & Requirements
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in B2B sales, with proven sales leadership experience
* Strong track record of winning and growing high-value contracts
* Experience in the utility, energy, EV, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable
* Ideally experienced in both public sector and commercial sales environments
* Comfortable operating in a start-up or scale-up environment with ambiguity and pace
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Willing and able to travel regularly across Scotland and the UK

* Competitive base salary of £50,000 – £70,000, depending on experience
