Contract Scotland are working closely with a reputable fit-out contractor to source an experienced Project Manager for a large refurbishment project in Edinburgh. This esteemed organisation seeks a professional and proactive individual with demonstrable experience managing high-end fit-out projects and complex refurbishments. You will have a track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
1. Leading the procurement of subcontractors and ensuring that they are appointed on time.
2. Ensuring that site records are produced and maintained accurately and that commercial opportunities are identified.
3. Taking responsibility for the construction programme and ensuring that it is accurately maintained.
4. Producing client progress reports.
5. Ensuring everyone on site is sufficiently trained and identifying any areas of development.
6. Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
7. Leading project review meetings.
8. Ensuring specified quality standards are understood and achieved.
9. Organising construction phase sign off and handoff with client.
To be considered for this role, you will:
1. Be degree qualified in a construction-related field or come from a trade background.
2. Have demonstrable management experience within a main contracting environment.
3. Have experience leading projects from inception to completion.
4. Be a driven and strategic individual who is confident and motivated in working collaboratively toward the success of a shared goal.
