You’ll work with professional leads in these areas to identify and maximise commercial opportunities. This is likely to include a varied approach that includes: income generation; grant funding; and strategic and service partnerships – that will all contribute to enhancing our financial performance and capacity. You’ll encourage and support a more entrepreneurial culture in service planning, evaluating commercial opportunities while ensuring that risk is carefully managed. We expect that you will already have a track record of working within a portfolio of commercial services, to enhance revenue growth and operational efficiencies, and that you can negotiate and influence in public and private sector settings. You should be experienced in procuring and managing high value contracts, and you should have an informed appreciation of the complexities of delivering commercial returns within a political environment.
