Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Delivering engaging and structured English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Supporting the development and delivery of curriculum content across reading, writing, and spoken English
* Creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes discussion, creativity, and confidence
* Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a calm, respectful learning environment
* Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student cohort
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Participating in ongoing training, including safeguarding and subject-specific CPD
What We're Looking For:
* A degree in English, English Literature, Creative Writing, or a related subject
* A genuine passion for teaching and working with young people
* Excellent communication skills and classroom presence
* Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward student development
* An interest in progressing into teacher training pathways (PGCE, SCITT, QTS Apprenticeships)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
