Salary: £53,656 - £60,082 per annum (including London Weighting)Contract: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Uxbridge & Hayes Reporting to the Assistant Principal, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for learners with mild to complex needs, ensuring an inclusive, high-quality curriculum and outstanding learner outcomes. You will lead a team of dedicated curriculum and support staff across full-time and part-time programmes, driving excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.This is an exciting opportunity to shape our high-needs strategy, enhance progression pathways, and influence the College's future in SEND provision.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction for Supported Learning across FE college Inspire and manage curriculum and support teams to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.Oversee curriculum planning, development, and quality assurance in line with FE standards and SEND reforms.Manage qualification changes and ensure programmes align with local skills priorities and the Preparing for Adulthood framework.Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to strengthen transitions and progression pathways for High Needs learners.Monitor and improve learner progress, achievement, and destination outcomesLead on staffing, timetabling, budgeting, and resource allocation for Supported Learning.Ensure compliance with safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and funding regulations.Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusive practice across all Supported Learning provision.Required Qualifications & ExperienceDegree (or equivalent) and a minimum Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector.Proven leadership experience within Further Education, covering the full range of SEND and High Needs provision (mild to complex needs).Demonstrated ability to lead and develop curriculum teams, improving teaching, learning, and assessment outcomes.Experience designing and managing innovative SEND or High Needs curriculum models within FE.Track record of driving organisational change and implementing new initiatives or curriculum developments.Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, national SEND reforms, and current FE sector developments.Why Join Us?Access to exclusive roles in top FE colleges and training providers1-2-1 support from a Specialist SEN Consultant (CV tips & interview prep!)Health Cash Plan & REED Discount ClubStatutory Sick Pay, Maternity/Paternity/Adoption PayAccess to REED Learning & Development programmesEye test and spectacle vouchersIf this role sounds of interest Apply Today!
