Automotive Warranty Controller Required in Dartford for Automotive Specialist Motorsport Business
1. Pay: Up to £30,500 Basic DOE
2. Hours: 38 hours per week Monday - Friday ONLY. Early finish on Fridays too!
Our client a British Motorsport Manufacturer who have been engineering some of the UK's most specialist and bespoke race and road cars for over 50 years. Due to an exciting project and continuously expanding our client are looking for a Warranty Controller to join their Automotive Service Support team and support the work of the Service and Warranty Claims team. As a vehicle warranty controller our client wants you to bring your previous experience, skills and knowledge to their team. You will work within a team of Warranty Controllers reporting to the Aftersales Manager. This is a crucial to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other Automotive employers in our local area.

Within this Warranty Controller role your typical day to day duties will include:
8. Oversee the web-based warranty claims system.
9. Decide on warranty claims.
10. Monitor safety recalls and action new recalls when required.
11. Process returned parts into quarantine.
12. Process warranty invoices.
13. Produce weekly and monthly MI reports
14. Liaise with suppliers about ongoing quality concerns.
15. Identify and isolate faulty components.
16. Process and chase supplier returns.
The successful Warranty Controller Candidate will be someone who has:
17. Strong, clear, written communication skills; so that those international dealers for whom English is not their first language can understand without error.
18. Attention to detail.
19. Good understanding of MS-Word and MS-Excel.
20. Willingness to be ‘hands-on’, handing parts and potentially packing and shipping.
21. Desire to build a level of technical understanding.
22. Confidence to talk to suppliers about quality concerns.
23. Able to travel to make supplier visits.
24. Experience in warranty processing at a dealer level is an advantage.
