Senior Learning Support Practitioner (HLTA) 1 year fixed term in the first instance
32 1/2 hours per week term time only
Actual salary £23,906 - £27,245
Please note this salary is based on a full year post, as such your actual salary is dependent on your start date and will need to be recalculated once all clearances are in place and a start date has been agreed.

Due to increased need we are opening the first satellite school to be based at The Studio School in Walsall.
* Teaching small groups of pupils – subjects may include Preparation for Adulthood but usually includes a range of subjects and up to GCSE/
* Essential experience having experience with EHCP paperwork and the ability to carry out annual reviews?
* Support for the SEN team so experience and knowledge of neurodiversity and mental health advantageous.
* Confident to work with families and young people who may have had negative experiences of education.
* Willingness to travel across the borough and the satellite school based at Shelfield School.

Shepwell Short Stay School is a progressive and vibrant learning community that focuses on raising the aspirations and potential of every pupil at the school. We have places in school for 30 learners, all who have an EHCP and work in a very bespoke manner to support our learners complex needs. We will offer a curriculum similar to that delivered at Studio School with relevant interventions and one to one or group support.

Please Note working closely with SEN team to arrange, conduct and complete paperwork for EHCP annual reviews is a vital part of this role so experience desirable.
