Job Opportunity: Cat B 3.5t Driver
The Best Connection is currently seeking multiple Cat B 3.5t drivers on behalf of our client in the Barking area.
Responsibilities include:
1. Business-to-business delivery of mid to high-end office furniture to companies in the southeast region.
2. Performing vehicle checks, loading the vehicle, and preparing for daily routes.
3. Completing deliveries and assisting with installations at customer sites.
4. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients.
You will receive full training and be accompanied by an experienced driver's mate to assist you.
Requirements: Good command of the English language is essential for effective communication during deliveries.
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime past 5:00 PM is paid at time and a half. Some weekends may be required, with weekend hours paid at time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays and bank holidays.
Pay rate: £12.50 per hour, increasing to £13.10 after successful completion of the trial period.
Eligibility: To qualify, you must hold a valid Cat B driving license.
