Fortem is seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi to join our Disrepair & Litigation team in Birmingham. The role requires competence in multiple trades with a focus on carpentry, and you will work 8am‑4:30pm on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks across the Social Housing contract, ensuring high quality standards.
* Take ownership of assigned work, resolving issues on the first visit to minimise repeat visits and disruptions.
* Complete all tasks within allocated budgets and timelines to maintain operational efficiency.
* Support site inspections and quality checks in reporting to the Voids Supervisor.
* Operate in accordance with company Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
* Stay up to date with the latest technical advancements and legal requirements relevant to your craft.
* Execute duties with minimal supervision whilst maintaining professionalism and a strong commitment to quality.
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in a Carpentry role.
* Full, clean driving licence.

* Social housing experience.
