Multi-Drop Delivery Driver - Melksham Summary We’re looking for a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team in Melksham. What it's like to work here A driving job with a difference - we are looking for a driver to deliver to National Trust properties, delivering stock to our retail properties across the southwest and further afield. Your contractual location will be our Distribution Centre in Melksham. The role does require excellent reliability and the ability to resolve issues on your own or with local property staff. Start time is between 6 and 7am, and you will normally work 7.5 hours per day, however there can be overtime if the route requires it or after delays. What you'll be doing You will be driving a long wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter size van, typically carrying out three or four drops per day, and covering 200-250 miles per day. We are about to obtain our own van on lease hire from mid-2026. When delivering you may have to access the store with keys and deliver into a storeroom or shop – sometimes working on your own. Days of the week will Monday, Tuesday and Friday (however this can vary as required). Who we're looking for In your application, please provide details of how you meet the criteria below: UK driving licence with no more than three points, with eligibility for class B Confident driving this size vehicle and working on your own. Able to physically deliver the stock being carried on the vehicle into various locations at NT sites, often some distance from where the vehicle can access, typically by using a sack truck or trolley. Can demonstrate great reliability and the ability to solve problems independently. Able to carry out daily van safety checks and basic daily maintenance of the vehicle – tyre pressure, washing van as required, interior cleaning etc, and reporting any mechanical issues that may require attention.
