Job Title: New Product Introduction - Production Leader
Working Pattern: 37 hours days
Working location: Derby
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a New Product Introduction Production Leader to lead, inspire, and coach a team within a New Product Introduction manufacturing cell. Collaborating cross-functionally with Programme management, Engineering, and Production to develop complex, high-precision components. The role is accountable for ensuring customer commitments are met in full, measured against agreed HSE, quality, cost, delivery, people, and responsiveness standards, and for the successful transition of NPI projects into the PCO Facility.

What You Will Be Doing

2. Product Safety: Ensure all work complies with standards to meet engineering specifications and promote a product safety culture.
3. Quality: Strive for Zero Defects, work across functions to reduce risks, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
4. Cost: Manage the people budget, drive productivity, and reduce consumable costs.
5. Delivery: Ensure products and services meet customer commitments on time by effective planning and managing bottlenecks.
6. People: Develop a capable, flexible team through training, motivation, and development.
7. Lean: Deploy and sustain production standards, supporting continuous improvement.
8. Lead: Inspire high performance, coach, delegate, empower, and demonstrate lean leadership behaviors.
9. Assets: Optimize manufacturing assets to maximize productivity and meet demand, understanding constraints and future planning.
10. Digital Manufacturing: Utilize IT systems effectively, communicate digital strategies, and leverage innovative technologies.
Who We're Looking For
