Job Description
3. Support the Financial Controller in overseeing the Accounts Department and overall financial operations.
4. Manage a small team of three, including delegation, workload management, training, and technical guidance.
5. Assist in preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and support year‑end processes, including liaising with external auditors.
6. Ensure accurate and timely monthly management accounts, debtor reporting, and weekly cashflow forecasts.
7. Oversee effective cash management to maximise interest on surplus funds.
8. Develop and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures to support the business's growth.
9. Provide ad‑hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant

15. Maintain and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures to support the growing needs of the business.
16. Provide technical support to the finance team and wider staff.
17. Perform additional ad‑hoc duties as required by the Financial Controller.
