We are seeking a skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join our team of craftsmen in our busy workshop based in Angus, Scotland. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with wood to create high-quality joinery pieces according to specifications. This role involves using a variety of hand tools and machinery to manufacture bespoke windows and doors including but not limited to: sash and case windows, screens, intricate shapework.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner or similar role in a woodworking environment.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and woodworking machinery.
* Strong understanding of different wood types.
* Ability to read and interpret different technical drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
