About the School This specialist provision supports pupils with a range of additional needs, with a strong focus on Autism (ASC). The school provides a structured and predictable environment, using consistent routines and tailored strategies to support communication, engagement and independence. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism Implement structured routines and visual support strategies Support communication and social interaction Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum Work closely with teachers and SEN staff Requirements Experience supporting pupils with ASC / Autism Understanding of strategies such as visual timetables or structured support approaches Patient, calm and consistent approach Strong communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
