Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Warehouse Assistant to work for a company in Wantage, Oxfordshire
Role: Warehouse Assistant
Salary: £13 per hour
Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Assistant:
1. Checking/booking in stock
2. Warehouse replenishment
3. Picking, packing and booking stock out
4. Stock takes
5. To carry out any reasonable tasks as and when requested by management
6. To support the with the ISO Accreditation, Health and Safety and Risk Assessments where appropriate
7. To ensure all paperwork is completed fully, filed or archived in the appropriate manner
8. To assist all departments in any queries / requests made to the warehouse
9. When requested to, liaise with couriers to ensure all items are tracked, shipped or collected promptly
About you:
10. Previous experience in the warehouse environment is preferred.
11. Ability to listen and articulate effectively.
12. Attention to detail.
13. To gradually learn and amass knowledge and detailed understanding of Warehouse Procedures.
14. Knowledge and experience of driving a forklift truck is preferred.
15. Needs to be content to work in a semi-rural environment.
16. To converse with all people throughout the organisation within all levels
17. To be flexible on working hours and to work longer hours as the job may entail.
18. To travel when and where necessary if required.
19. A basic understanding of ISO9001, Health & Safety requirements
